Torgny to Knokke
Six runners, a van, bikes and 35 hours of non-stop relays, from the Ardennes to the North Sea, for the children supported by AMKA Kenya.
The idea
The van follows the team so they can eat, recover, sleep for a few minutes and keep their energy up.
A cyclist stays with the runner, including on stretches vehicles cannot reach.
About 10 km at a time, around 63 km each and 35 hours to link the two borders.

Running for AMKA Kenya
La Diagonale Solidaire supports AMKA, an organisation that has worked since 1998 with children and families in the Ngando neighbourhood of Nairobi. Through education, health and self-reliance projects, AMKA helps children grow up in a warm and safe environment. Every kilometre run will move this mission forward.
Fundraising for AMKA
“Amka” means “wake up” in Swahili: every gift makes the sun rise over Ngando.
Your gift goes straight to AMKA, through VIA Don Bosco's account. The site never handles the money.
